The Freedom Certification™ is a live, hands-on, interactive, and powerful training program! You will learn how to blend ICF coaching skills with ministry/discipleship tools like prayer and inner healing, so you can help people encounter the presence of God and find freedom in Christ.

The Freedom Certification™ is a Biblical, trauma-informed, and Spirit-filled program that equips people like you to minister to and coach their clients, helping them break through strongholds and find freedom in Christ.

We found that inner healing and prayer ministry are powerful, but people often struggle to encounter God’s presence independently, leading them to become dependent on a minister.
Traditional coaching is effective, but without encounters with God, they risk going back to old patterns of bondage because the key to breakthrough is God’s presence.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

People are hurting and ready to let go of their past pain and embrace their purpose. Helping clients stop relying on things like discipline or shame to develop good habits will teach them to activate the power of God in their lives. Clients will experience a deepening relationship with the Lord, embrace the power of vulnerability, walk in their identity in Christ, and be who God created them to be. You’ll learn three key areas of freedom for your clients:
FREEDOM FOUNDATIONS™
We will explore the foundations of freedom using coach tools aligned with ICF Core Competencies. Even if you don’t want to coach as a business, this is a key foundation to leadership development. Learning to ask powerful questions and listen well without giving advice is a skill. You’ll solidify your understanding of the biblical foundations for Christian coaching and ministry. (Optional for current ICF-accredited coaches.)
FREEDOM FRAMEWORK™
You will be trained to help people align their thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and actions with God’s heart using the two parts of the Freedom Framework™ as a foundation in all your sessions. You’ll learn to identify the key phrases people say that keep them in bondage (Enemy’s Plan) and have the confidence that you can help them rewrite their old story and find the glory of God in their lives (God’s Plan).
FREEDOM COACH MODEL®
Each client struggles with different topical strongholds. You will create a custom plan for your clients. You’ll learn independent tools to help clients hear God’s voice and encounter His presence. You’ll tackle subjects such as fear, rejection, anger, soul ties, and family-of-origin wounds, among others. You’ll have Biblical strategies to help them be set free. These advanced tools follow the Freedom Framework.
THE PATH TO CERTIFICATION
Step 1: Module 1 – Freedom Foundations is for those who want to learn freedom-focused leadership coaching skills. Anyone can take this training. (No certificate is earned after this training; however, you may earn ICF CCEs.)
Step 2: Module 2-3 – Freedom Framework is for those who have completed The Freedom Foundation or an equivalent and want to learn the Freedom Framework Model that provides an incredible breakthrough for your clients. Existing coaches can learn the model plus gain ICF CCEs. Pre-requisite: Freedom Foundations, ICF, or CCNI credentialing.
Step 3: Module 4 – The Freedom Coach Model is for those who have completed The Freedom Foundation or an equivalent (Module 1) and The Freedom Framework (Module 2-3), and who want to add topical tools for specific client struggles. It builds on the Freedom Framework and allows you to become a Certified Freedom Coach®. Pre-requisite: Freedom Foundation and Freedom Framework.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Path to Certification:
Freedom Foundation (Module 1): We will meet for 7 weeks. (14 credit hours plus 2 resource development hours)
(If you have previous coach training, you may qualify to begin with Module 2.)
Freedom Framework (Module 2-3): We will meet for 19 weeks (42 credit hours plus 2 resource development hours)
(Prerequisite: Must have taken Freedom Foundation or an ICF Level 1 course.)
Freedom Coach Model (Module 4): We will meet for 14 weeks (26 credit hours plus 2 resource development hours)
(Prerequisite: Must have graduated from the Freedom Framework)
Online Training: You’ll gather with up to 9 students as a cohort for live online meetings lasting 2 hours each. Meetings will include instructor-led group instruction and discussion, as well as smaller breakout groups where you’ll practice skill-building activities.
Commitment: This robust training will require approximately 2 hours of rewarding and fun assignments, reading, and practice outside of the cohort per week. (And some weeks with no assignments, too.)
Workbooks: You’ll receive a Training Workbook to support you during and after the program ends. (Total of 200 pages if all levels are taken.) Plus, you’ll receive a Client Workbook filled with worksheets, activations, and prayers for clients to do independently upon graduation.
1:1 with Jill: Training is very hands-on and facilitated live on Zoom. You will meet 1:1 with Jill several times to ask questions, get feedback on your coaching, and receive more support. Jill also provides written feedback on all assignments.
Triads and Pairs: You will meet with 2 -3 other cohort members outside the training sessions for ongoing practice and skill development. Jill will give you personal feedback on your coaching sessions.
Community: You’ll have access to a private online community to receive support between sessions, all the course materials, and videos.
Mentor Coaching: You’ll receive up to 10 hours of mentor coaching that complies with ICF and CCNI requirements.
Other Benefits: Certified graduates will have access to our registered trademark, Freedom Coach®, and free annual continuing education classes. Plus, a class on how to market and grow your business with technology, social media, agreements, client worksheets, and more.
Cost: We offer discounts for paying in full. Or payment plans to fit your budget. The program’s cost will be shared once the application is complete and all factors are considered. It will range from $650 to $ 850/month, depending on which modules you take and the payment plan you choose. (As a comparison, just coaching 1:1 with Jill is $500/month.)

This program is for those who want to use trauma-informed, Biblical tools, prayer, and an inner healing modality alongside traditional coaching and ministry. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you offer scholarships?
We hope this program will attract major donors who want to sponsor a coach. You are more than welcome to find a sponsor – if they donate any amount to Jill Monaco Ministries on your behalf, 100% of that amount, minus fees, will be taken off your tuition, and they will receive a tax-deductible letter. You may want to fundraise through another means, like GoFundMe, or ask your church or the company you work for. However, your payments are not tax-deductible.
What is the process of applying?
Once you fill out the application and submit your references, we will review it and send you an email with the next steps within 10 days. If you’re application is accepted, you’ll meet with Jill on Zoom so you can ask additional questions and we can make sure this program is a good fit. If all goes well, you will join our next cohort!
Will I receive a certification at the end of training?
If you successfully pass all the requirements, you will receive a certificate of graduation. For those who qualify, they will receive an application to become a “Certified Freedom Practitioner” or “Certified Associate Freedom Coach.” Most requirements will be met by completing the training, but you will need to gain enough client hours before applying for certification. This is consistent with ICF and CCNI requirements.
Do I receive ICF or CCNI credit hours?
You will receive documentation of 78 hours of coach-specific training and 10 hours of mentor coaching to turn into ICF for the “portfolio path.” Since we are not yet pre-approved by ICF, there are no guarantees for how they may evaluate our program or change their requirements. If you are already an ICF coach, you can turn in 40 hours of CCEs.
CCNI has pre-approved our curriculum, so you can apply for credentialing after you get 100 coaching hours.
Do I need to sign an Agreement?
Yes, for those accepted into the program, you will be able to review and sign the License Agreement.
Can I cancel or receive a refund after joining?
No, due to the fact that you receive the program materials from the beginning and your spot is secured for you, it is non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment plans will continue whether you choose to continue with the program or not. Please prayerfully consider your decision to join us!
Is there a Facebook Group?
We will use Facebook for building relationships, announcements, questions, and accountability. However, you do not have to use Facebook to participate.
How interactive are the trainings?
We aim for 80% of the training to be interactive. You’ll have breakout groups, practice activities, and cohort-level assignments that are all a part of this group training experience.
What happens if I miss a training?
You can miss up to 3 in-person training sessions. Since each training is built upon the previous one, you’ll need to watch the replay and complete the required essay.
Will I need to purchase other materials?
Yes, you will have a reading list and you are responsible for acquiring those books.
Do I need to be a Christian to apply?
This content is based on Biblical truths, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit. You will not get value from this program if you are not a Christian. We also require our participants to agree to our Statement of Faith and abide by our Code of Conduct.
