After an evening with family, friends and giving thanks, the average consumer in 2014 spent $380 on Black Friday. On Cyber Monday, the Monday after Thanksgiving, the average consumer in 2014 spent $248.

Giving to family and friends is just fun! What a blessing it is to be able to give. I find so much joy in asking the Lord how I can bless people. Maybe you’re like me and you prefer giving rather than receiving?

I want to share with you an easy way you can continue expressing your thankfulness.

What if you could do something that didn’t cost you a dime (literally) but helped a non profit immensely?

Last year more than 30,000 organizations in 68 countries came together to celebrate something called #GivingTuesday. It’s a day when people around the world come together to give back through financial resources or influence. This movement has been growing around the world. It’s a way to bring attention to your favorite charity through social media. When you share on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram you use your voice to influence your friends.

I want to encourage you to share your favorite charity on #GivingTuesday, December 1, 2015.

You have the power to make any message go viral just because you are passionate about a cause. Your voice matters.

Even if you can’t support a cause, charity or ministry financially, you can let people know the good work they are doing by using the hashtag #GivingTuesday and the charity name on a photo or in a post.

Would you consider sharing part of my ministry with your friends? Any kind testimony would help get the word out about what I'm doing. You can reach people you don’t even know by using the hashtag #GivingTuesday! And add @jillmonaco or @Single_Matters (don’t forget the underscore between the words).

Need ideas?

Share a testimony on Facebook of how the ministry has blessed you through my blog posts, teaching or videos … or through Single Matters magazine. Maybe include a link to a previous article or blog post. Be sure to tag me and #GivingTuesday in your post too.

Share an image on your Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest or Facebook with @jillmonaco or @single_matters and #GivingTuesday on the post and in the description.

Tweet to @jillmonaco or @single_matters and #GivingTuesday.

Encourage your friends to do the same!

By the way … #GivingTuesday is tomorrow.

And if you feel led, you can give to my ministry too.

Happy sharing and giving!

P.S. You can even enter to win some prizes from #GivingTuesday by sharing your story!
